March has been a busy month for the schools our members are working with. We have helped by planting over 200 trees in conjunction with Mersey Forest at Spinney Avenue Primary School and with the Woodland Trust at Saint Peter and Paul's College.
At Spinney Avenue we have continued to clear the raised beds and plant vegetables.
Saint Peter and Paul pupils completed a model of their garden for RHS Tatton this summer. They successfully presented the model to RHS and other competing schools at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester and are now concentrating on growing the plants that will appear in the Tatton Garden.
